The Crabb Family and Siblings

The Crabb Family is a southern gospel ensemble that was founded by Adam and his siblings. The oldest member of the group was Jason, followed by sisters Terah and Kelly and twin brothers Adam and Aaron.

The singing group was founded in the small Kentucky town of Beaver Dam by Gerald Crabb, the head of the family, and his spouse Kathy Crabb. They oversaw the group up until 2007 when they retired. The group has won multiple accolades and put out multiple albums in the course of their career.

Before their retirement in 2007, the siblings had decided to take different career paths the previous year (in 2006). The siblings decided that it was time to begin a new chapter in their individual lives so each member intended to pursue various ministries.

The Crabb Family wrapped up their tour by thanking everyone who supported them over the 10 years that they released their songs. Their final tour as a group happened on August 1, 2007.

Soon after their last tour, Jason embarked on his solo career while his brother, Aaron started a two-person band called Aaron & Amanda Crabb. Additionally, Adam and Terah launched a band called Crabb Revival but Terah decided to quit the band in 2009 to focus on being a mother full-time.

Adam Crabb Gaither Vocal Band

Adam is now a member of The Gaither Vocal Band, an American southern gospel vocal group, which was named after its founder and lead singer Bill Gaither. The group released a list of its members on the 1st of March 2017 and the members were confirmed to be; Reggie Smith, Wes Hampton, Adam Crabb, Todd Suttles, and Bill Gaither.

The group’s line-up changes regularly as members leave to pursue individual projects and are replaced by both new and returning members.

For instance, the group announced in January 2009 that English and Lowry would be joining the ensemble; English as the lead vocal and Lowry as a baritone. After serving for several years, the two stated in October 2013 that they would be stepping down from their roles to focus more on their careers.

English left right away, but Lowry stayed on until they were able to find a replacement baritone. March 2014 saw the release of Hymns, their final album as a group, which received a December Grammy Award nomination.
