Ava Dash Philanthropist
Ava began her profession as a philanthropist when she was just 15 years old. She worked with the charity ‘The Teen Project’ and the American footwear company ‘Ugg’ to construct foster-care rooms for eight women.
Other companies that contributed to the charity event included ‘Echo,’ ‘Tempaper,’ ‘Handy.com,’ and ‘Z Gallerie.’ Dash had always been interested in home décor and design. She has been traveling with her mother since she was a child, and it was on one of her trips to Africa and India that she encountered a few homeless and abandoned girls.
Ava was inspired to meet those girls and immediately began planning methods to improve their lives. She also met a few craftsmen who were helped by her mother’s charitable organization, ‘Kindness Is Always Fashionable.’ Rachel’s humanitarian initiatives, whether for her own company or for groups like the ‘World Food Programme,’ had a big impression on Ava.
She quickly grasped the significance of such charitable acts. Ava had gathered a lot of experience in humanitarian activities by the time she returned to Los Angeles. She wanted to use her experiences to benefit society. She was introduced to Lauri Burns, the founder of ‘The Teen Project,’ and her life story moved Lauri Burns.
Ava then joined forces with ‘The Teen Project’ to make a difference in the lives of young girls from low-income families. She began by creating a beautiful and warm home for the girls to stay while utilizing her significant interior-designing skills to assist the cause. ‘Ugg’ had been her favorite footwear brand for a long time, so she chose to collaborate with the company.
Ava’s efforts resulted in the distribution of hundreds of boots to the young volunteers of ‘The Teen Project,’ which spurred their motivation. She revamped four rooms for eight women under the ‘The Teen Project,’ using ‘Ugg’ blankets, area rugs, and seats. The bedding and furniture were furnished by ‘Echo’ and ‘Z Gallerie,’ respectively. ‘Handy.com’ assisted with the space’s wallpapering.
Ava also asked a couple of her friends, including ‘Disney’ star Peyton List and ‘Teen Wolf’ actor Cody Saintgnue, to make a donation. She collaborated with Tempaper, a self-adhesive, removable wallpaper manufacturer, in December 2015 to raise funds and awareness for ‘The Teen Project.’
Ava Dash Author
Ava launched her debut book, ’96 Words for Love’ in 2009. She has co-written the book with her mother. In a modern setting, the novel tells the narrative of the Indian mythological characters ‘Shakuntala’ and ‘Dushyanta.’ There are also several methods to say “love” in Sanskrit throughout the book. ‘Raya,’ the protagonist, is represented by Ava on the cover of the book.
She hopes to serve poor children in India with her first writing endeavour. For this reason, she has partnered with the global funding organization ‘World of Children.’ Ava was initially hesitant to write a book. Her mother proposed the idea of ’96 Words for Love’ to Ava, which she loved.
They got right to work on the book. Rachel would type whatever Ava said. She took a unique approach to launching the book. Ava traveled to India for research for the book, where she met some girls she thought would benefit from the book. She hopes to locate an organization that assists disadvantaged Indian girls by offering crucial resources for education and empowerment.
