She also served as an Orientational Leader where she held orientations for incoming students to the University of New Orleans. These roles in the institution prepared her for her later job.
In January 2013, she served as a News Reporting Intern at WDSU Channel 6 for four semesters. This was one of the most precious moments she experienced while in college since she spent a considerable amount of time with reporters, observing them, working with them directly, and putting herself in their shoes.
Her career started professionally in October 2019 at WWL-TV as a part-time Assignment Desk Assistant. She helped with the research for news making headlines, story leads, and news stories. She also coordinated with PIOs and local authorities in order to get factual material for the newscast.
