Brian Entin | The Twitter Hacking Menace
Brian Entin was unintentionally placed in the spotlight on October 12, 2021, during Gabby Petito’s virtual autopsy result conference, which was hosted by Teton County Coroner Dr. Brent Blue.
He claimed to have been hacked, and a user going by his name began sending inappropriate messages asking for his microphone to be unmuted. He denounced the behavior and claimed that his account had been hacked and that he had not sent the texts.
His accused hacker made ugly, disparaging comments to the chat after his request was denied. The messages became more annoying and made repeated filthy allegations when the account was left on mute.
Until today, it is not known who was responsible for the hack. As soon as his account was restored, released a statement that read; “Someone hacked my name on the coroner’s chat and asked horrible things I’m told. That wasn’t me. It was in the chat section where questions were typed.”
According to NewsNation’s president of news, Michael Corn, Brian is courageous and a fantastic example of the kind of in-depth reporting that NewsNation strives for. NewsNation launched a missing persons series based on his coverage of Gabby Petito’s murder.
