On August 16, 2018, Bridget received one of the most frightening messages that any patient would receive; “You have been diagnosed with stage four endometriosis”. Her personality is unmatched because she has battled this journey with great humor.
This illness started a long time ago when she experienced severe abdominal pain, nausea, and exhaustion for six years during her teenage menstrual years. Since then, she has utilized heat packs while working radio shifts in an effort to reduce the discomfort brought on by the illness.
Bridget started the “Endogram” Instagram account on May 9, 2019, with the sole purpose of promoting endometriosis awareness, disseminating knowledge, and fostering discussions about the condition.
To further prove that Bridget is battling this illness with great humor, she authored a book titled “How to Endo”, which details her experiences living with endometriosis. The book was published on March 2, 2021. The following month, her appointed to the Australian jury for the country’s 2022 Eurovision Song Contest entry.
