After a short spell, he accepted a contract to work for WRIC-TV in Richmond, Virginia, where he started two weekly shows: This Week in Richmond, a public affairs program, and Richtalk, a show for teenagers.
But thanks to his meteorological experience and passion, he was soon hired as a weekend weather anchor where he covered local, national, and international news stories. He left his role as the weather anchor for Good Morning Richmond and the 8 News at Noon newscasts at WRIC after nine years of service.
He then relocated to Buffalo, New York, where he worked as a morning meteorologist for WGRZ’s Daybreak Morning show and Noon newscasts.
