Where is Chuck Todd Going After Leaving Meet the Press?
Todd revealed on Sunday, June 4, 2023, at the end of the episode of Meet the Press that he would be quitting his role as the moderator of the program later in the year and handing that role to Kristen Welker, as he had hoped.
He said that his thirty years in the news industry made him unavailable to his family and that he was pleased with the timing of his departure, saying it was exactly the way he had intended.
He intends to stay with NBC in a new position as chief political commentator, where he will be a key factor in regard to coverage of important events and in the field. He’ll concentrate on long-form journalism as well.
