Dante Bowe Story
Dante revealed that ever since he was in school, he felt ‘there was always something new waiting to be soaked up.” He once sang at a talent show in his seventh grade which made him fall in love with art and singing.
As a child, he was molested by a church elder which really traumatized his whole childhood. He found solace in God and was able to find his purpose, his calling and went through a process of restoration.
During an interview with Christian Post, Bowe said;
“I was abused in the church. I was molested in church for years. I had to navigate that early, as a kid. That thing in your brain that’s the decision-maker, I didn’t even have that, at that age, it doesn’t develop until later,”
“I was making those decisions at 10, whether I was going to be one of those guys that’s like, ‘Forget the church. I have nothing to do with that.’ Or say, ‘There’s no way this is God.’ For some reason, I knew that’s not God and He’s not like that, and that’s evil. I could decipher and it was hard. That was a journey.”
