Heather Hiscox Career As a Journalist

She formerly worked for CFPL-TV, CBC Montreal, the Global Television Network, ASN, and CHCH in Hamilton, Ontario, before returning to the CBC as a network executive. From 1990 to 1991, she co-hosted a morning show on 1290 CJBK in London, Ontario with Steve Garrison. In 1988–89, she worked a variety of radio shifts at Rock FM96 CFPL-FM in London, including afternoon drive and evenings.

She began her broadcasting career at radio station CFOS/CFPS in her hometown of Owen Sound. She had an appearance on the CIQC AM 600 Montreal show Travel World in 1997 as part of a story titled “The Hidden Holiday Hide-away Haunts of Heather Hiscox.” Hiscox was 16 years old when she won the Miss Teen Canada competition in 1981.
