Isaiah Saldivar’s Story To Christianity
Saldivar was raised in a Christian household but at some point in his life, he stopped going to church. He had given up on Christianity and he saw it as meaningless for several years. However, a life-changing moment happened in 2011.
He attended a church service in Modesto, California, on January 12, 2011, not knowing that his life was about to change for good. There wasn’t anything that pushed him to go to church, he just did it for the sake of doing it.
However, this day was different. The more the pastor preached the more Isaiah thirsted for the word. Soon after the service was over, he hurried to the altar without a second thought and said a short prayer that would forever change the course of his life.
His partying and drinking life became pointless all at once and he started to feel overwhelmed by the power of the Holy Spirit. That Wednesday night has been memorable for him up to this day. He came in as a sinner and left as God’s son.
Isaiah was taken aback to realize that he had been a nonbeliever for the better part of his life, and could not sleep for three nights in a row after accepting God in his life. His old habits of thinking and living had all but disappeared instantly, and he started getting rid of all the memories and things that reminded him of his past existence.
He sought the guidance of his uncle, Ben Lucero (Nino) who was the only person in his family who was active in ministry. Isaiah has since given his life to Christ and he is on a mission of bringing as many people as possible to the kingdom of God.
