Rascon began his journalism career at the NBC affiliate KNBC in Los Angeles where he worked as a reporter and news anchor. He then joined NBC News in Dallas, Texas as a correspondent. As a journalist, he reporters on the migrant crisis in Turkey and the capture of the world’s most-wanted drug lord El Chapo in Mexico.
