Donaldson first joined SportsNet New York in 2006, while it was still in its beginnings. She covered a variety of sporting events for SNY and anchored Mets Weekly, a weekly show that recaps New York Mets games, transactions, injuries, and other topics.
She was employed by NBC station WHDH-TV to report Boston sports in February 2008 and left the position in December 2008, looking for a new opportunity. Donaldson began working for Comcast SportsNet’s mid-Atlantic network as a freelance reporter in June 2010, covering sports topics in the Washington, D.C. region.
She reported almost every team, player, and big sports event in the area, as well as domestic and international sports competitions, throughout her 10-year stint as a reporter, anchor, and host for NBC Sports Washington.
