“I grew up spending almost every weekend, especially in middle school, at a Bar or Bat Mitzvah. If I look back at the number, I believe we are talking well over 60,” he explained.
“This is especially meaningful for me because I was raised in a Christian home. Being able to attend all of these Bar and Bat Mitzvahs was a life-changing experience for me, and it was the best.”
When he was a teenager, his passion for swimming led him to work at Thousand Oaks’ Daland Swim School. “I think patience is the key to teaching little kids to swim,” he joked. “Just take your time and be comfortable with the fact that this is a marathon, not a sprint.”
He attended the University of California, Santa Barbara after graduating from high school. Upon graduating, he worked at several news stations across the country before joining KTLA in late 2014. He is not only a successful journalist, but he is also a successful real estate agent.
