The American meteorologist was born and raised in Jackson, Tennessee. She has worked diligently in her whole professional life to forecast the weather in the Southeast, starting as a weekend weathercaster at WHBQ in Memphis and ending as the Chief Meteorologist in Raleigh, North Carolina.
