Soberano began appearing in adverts as soon as she relocated to Manilla. Her talent manager Ogie Diaz who is an actor, businessman, and comedian advised her to learn Tagalog, so as to get good roles in the film and television industry in the Philipines.
She first starred in the Philippine fantasy-drama, and comedy anthology television series ‘Wansapanataym in October 2013. She then had minor roles in ‘Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo’ and ‘Maalaala Mo Kaya’.
That same year, Soberano also bagged a supporting role in the Filipino coming-of-age rom-com ‘Must Be… Love’ as Angela Gomez. She also appeared in Wansapanataym as Dahlia, Luv U as Pia and She’s The One as Gillian.
Soberano’s breakthrough film was Forevermore where she played the main role of Maria Agnes Calay a young Strawberry farmer. Her onscreen partner Enrique Gil played the role of Alexander Grande.
