Elevation Church launched Elevation Worship was launched in 2007 by Elevation Church based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Before joining Essential Records, the band issued four independently distributed albums. The first album titled ‘Sound’ was released in 2007 under the name Elevation Church Live.
One of their famous albums titled ‘Kingdom Come’, which included the song “Give Me Faith,” debuted at No. 5 on Heatseekers, No. 42 on Independent Albums, and No. 17 on the Christian Albums list on the Billboard charts.
On November 21, 2011, the group’s For the Honor, their first studio album, was released to the public through Sony Music Nashville’s Essential Records label. It achieved success on the charts published by Billboard magazine, peaking at No. 1 on Heatseekers, No. 19 on the Christian Albums list, and No. 193 on the Billboard 200.

Why Did Mack Brock Leave elevation Worship?
Before pursuing his own solo career in 2018 with his debut album for Sparrow Records, Greater Things, Mack earned a reputation as a founding member of Elevation Worship.
He and other musicians like Chris Brown and Jonsal Barrientes helped set up a string of progressively successful CCM albums after helping to start the Elevation Worship ministry at Charlotte, North Carolina’s Elevation Church in 2007. Their debut single, Kingdom Come, reached the top of the charts in 2010.
After joining Essential Records, Elevation church experienced a run of successful live albums, including Nothing Is Wasted (2013), Wake Up the Wonder (2014), and Here as in Heaven (2016). He had a significant contribution to all these three albums.
Brock left Elevation in June 2017 after serving the band for ten years. Soon after, he was offered a solo deal with Capitol Records’ Sparrow imprint. His first album, Greater Things debuted in 2018 and did well on the Billboard CCM list.
