Monique Wright is an Australian journalist and television presenter. She currently works as the co-host of Weekend Sunrise. She joined the Seven Network as a reporter in 1996.

Since then, she has reported on political events, human interest stories, celebrity interviews, royal nuptials, and Olympic Games, among other things, for Sunday Night.

In 2007, she assumed Grant Denyer’s spot as the weather presenter of the Sunrise national breakfast program on the Seven Network. She served in the position for a year before meteorologist David Brown took over.

On March 30, 2023, Wright discussed how difficult it was for her family to find a rental house in Sydney as a result of the country’s continuous rental problem. She claimed that despite recently looking at 30 rental homes, she is still unable to find a place where she can live.

Wright told co-hosts David “Kochie” Koch and Natalie Barr, “We’ve recently been looking, and we’ve looked at 30 properties. It is terrible. You must see how disgusting it is. People are in need. We have struggled so much.”
