She had morning shifts from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and she played a big role in conducting interviews, researching, and producing morning shows. Bonsu contributed to the production of breaking news stories for the evening newscast and wrote, edited, and produced them in the afternoon the following day.

Her stint in Ghana ran for two years and after her tenure came to an end, she decided to come back to the United States where she studied this course. Her first station in the USA was Spectrum News in Greensboro, North Carolina.

She covered a wide range of topics at that time, including the COVID-19 pandemic, severe weather, such as tornadoes, the community’s reaction to the tragic Oxford High School massacre, and persistent infrastructural problems that still affect locals in the area.

She left North Carolina to work as a reporter for WTKR, a CBS station in Norfolk, in southeast Virginia. After that, she traveled west to work at the ABC station WXYZ in Detroit. Nana-Sentuo Bonsu joined FOX 5 DC in June 2022 where she has worked as a reporter until today.
