Paul Burmeister is an American Sports Journalist working for NBC Sports and NBC Olympics. He is the studio host, play-by-play announcer, and reporter at NBC Sports.

Before joining NBC Sports, Burmeister worked as the national radio voice of Notre Dame football and NFL Network. He hosted NBC’s studio coverage of Tour de France for the 3rd year.

He worked at KCRG-TV in Cedar Rapids, IA, as a reporter, sports anchor, and color commentator, and at NBC affiliate KWWL in Waterloo, Iowa as a Weekend Sports Director.

He’s also worked on Football Night in America as a reporter. The English Premier League’s exclusive broadcast contract with NBC was renewed in November 2021. Burmeister has joined their studio staff, hosting “Premier League Live” throughout the week and “Premier League Mornings” on weekends.
