Rachel Donadio is a Paris-based writer and journalist, a contributing writer for The Atlantic, and a former Rome bureau chief and European cultural correspondent for The New York Times. She has been stationed in Europe since 2008 and works on creative journalism and analysis as well as detailed feature articles and portraits that touch on religion, politics, and society.
Rachel has reported from more than 12 different territories and conducted interviews with presidents and other high-profile public figures, including four Nobel laureates in literature. She regularly contributes to The New York Review of Books as well.
