Rob worked as the lead meteorologist for Portland, Oregon’s KATU-TV and 750 KXL News Radio until joining CNN in May 2003. He was employed by KPLC-TV in Lake Charles, Louisiana, from 1994 to 1997 as a morning meteorologist and later as the chief meteorologist.
