Rocsi Diaz whose real name is Raquel Roxanne Diaz is an American radio personality, television personality, and model of Honduran descent. She is most recognized for her tenure as a co-host on BET’s music video countdown show 106 & Park from 2006 until 2012.
Rocsi’s career began in Dallas, Texas, where she worked as a host on 97.9 The Beat, the leading urban radio station in the city. During her time there, she developed a distinct, street-savvy style that drew the notice of Boston’s Hot 97.7, where she later worked as a DJ.
She relocated to Chicago in 2004, where she assumed duties as the midday-hour DJ at radio station Power 92 WPWX-FM and developed a reputation as “The Midday Mami.” Rocsi took over as host of the new Fox reality singing competition Alter Ego in 2021.
