Katz began her career at A&M Entertainment Inc as an intern. She then joined Waterman Broadcasting as a Production Assistant in June 2011. In August 2012, Katz joined Gulf Harbour Yacht and Country Club as a Tennis Pro Shop Manager. She then joined WINK News in April 2017 initially as an editor and later as a Traffic and News anchor.
While at WINK News, Sabrina began a new segment called Star Teachers with Sabrina Katz where she helps innovative and worthy teachers in the SWFL area gain acknowledgment and gratitude for their efforts. She launched the segment in January 2019 and since then, she has been able to give teachers a platform to be appreciated in how they help their students in extraordinary ways.

Katz announced on her social media pages that she would be leaving WINKS News after working there for about 4 years. In her farewell statement, she wrote;
“FAREWELL…It has been a pleasure serving as your Traffic Anchor Southwest Florida! Tomorrow is my last morning with you. I feel so blessed with all the love and support you’ve shown me.”
