Siafa Lewis NBC 5

Siafa Lewis was working as the Lead Sports anchor for NBC 5 News at 5 PM, 6 PM and 10 PM. He was promoted to the Lead anchor position. He joined the NBC 5 Sports team in May 2014, as sports anchor and reporter and co-host of NBC 5’s ‘Sports Sunday’ program.

Lewis formerly worked for the NBC affiliate in New York before joining NBC 5. He also worked as a sports anchor, the original Co-Host of LXNY, and a correspondent on NY Live, 1st Look NY, Open House NYC, and I Do. Lewis received three Emmy nominations for On-Camera Talent in New York.  He also worked as a General Assignment Reporter at SNY, Sportsnet NY, which is part of the Comcast Sportsnet Group, before joining NBC.

He covered all 9 NYC area professional teams, professional boxing, Rutgers football, college basketball, and more in addition to serving as the NY Giants beat writer. Lewis was also a co-host of Mets Monthly, SNY’s weekly magazine show. He began his professional television career as the Weekend Traffic Reporter for the NBC station in Philadelphia.
