Who are the Stray Kids?
Stary Kids is a South Korean boy band group formed in 2017 through the reality show Stray Kids. The group’s name refers to a lost child chasing their dreams and later growing to find their passion together.
The group originally consisting of nine members released its first song “Hellevator in October 2017. They then released their first extended play (EP) Mixtape in January 2018 under their record label JYP Entertainment.
Since their debut, Stray Kids have grown beyond their native South Korea to have fans all around the world. They have also increased their fan base in the United States like other Korean bands such as BTS and SuperM.
In February 2022, Stray Kids signed with Republic Records as a partnership with JYP Entertainment for promotions in the United States. The Korean name for Stray Kids is 스트레이 키즈; RR: Seuteurei kijeu; often abbreviated as SKZ.
