Kolber has covered everything from the National Football League to the 1996 ESPN X Games bicycle stunt events and Grand Slam tennis tournaments for ESPN. She is best known for her work as a sideline reporter on ESPN’s Monday Night Football alongside Michele Tafoya.

She also hosted ESPN’s pre-race NASCAR Countdown program in 2007. Kolber worked with Michele Tafoya on the ABC Sports broadcast of Super Bowl XL in Detroit in 2006, and she also contributed to the network’s pre-game show.

Kolber hosts ESPN’s NFL Live news and information show year-round, and she has played a key role in ESPN’s comprehensive coverage of the annual NFL Draft, hosting the Day 2 telecast (2004–2006) and leading analysis segments on Day 1.

Suzy was the studio host for the network’s NHL coverage on Fox, including the 1999 Stanley Cup Finals and Playoffs. Opening the Lost Tombs: Live From Egypt, a non-sports presentation co-hosted by Kolber and Maury Povich on Fox in March 1999, promised to “unveil five-thousand-year-old mysteries.”

The first live excavation on Egypt’s ancient Giza plateau was captured by Fox TV cameras, and Kolber reported live from the tomb.  In August 1999, she returned to ESPN.
