The beer is made with 100 % organic grains and Hallertau Taurus hops, with no added adjuncts, fillers, or sweeteners, generating a beer with just 90 calories and 2.6 grams of carbohydrates.

After the first rollout in February, EIGHT cans will be widely distributed throughout the state beginning in March. The company’s headquarters are in Austin, but the beer is processed in New Orleans at Faubourg Brewing Co.

For the success of this project, Aikman as the co-founder partnered with Doug Campbell, the previous President of Brewery Ommegang and operations leader Ruchi Desai, as well as brand strategist Jake Duneier.
