While reporting outside of Kyiv, Ukraine, a FOX News reporter was wounded. The journalist who was harmed during the incident was identified as British foreign affairs correspondent Benjamin Hall, 39. On Monday, Fox’s John Roberts broke the news live on TV, calling it “news we hate to pass along.”
“It’s definitely what occurs occasionally amid a battle,” Roberts explained. “There are very few specifics,” Roberts continued, “but people on the ground are working as hard as they can to retrieve further information.”
Fox News announced Hall’s admission to a Ukraine hospital in an email to colleagues; however, the extent of his injuries is unknown.”We have a minimal level of details right now, but Hall is hospitalized and our teams on the ground are working to gather additional information as the situation quickly unfolds,” the news outlet stated.
Brent Renaud, a 51-year-old American journalist, was shot dead in Ukraine on March 13, 2022, while reporting in the neighborhood of Irpin. The filmmaker previously worked for several news and media outlets, including HBO, NBC, and The New York Times. Juan Arredondo, Renaud’s coworker, was also treated at a hospital in Kiev after being hurt in the incident.

Kuvshinova, 24, was working as a consultant, assisting crew members in navigating Kyiv and the surrounding area while gathering information and speaking with sources.
Zakrzewski, a Fox News legend who covered nearly every international story during his illustrious career, was only 55 years old when he died. He was instrumental in getting Afghan freelance associates and their families out of the country following the US withdrawal last year.
