Jessica began having problems communicating with and responding to anchor Nahreman Issa as she was conducting a live broadcast on the six o’clock news in early January. She addressed “baseless allegations” about her health following a medical emergency during a live broadcast.
Before the live stream ended, Issa said that Robb wasn’t alone during the newscast “We’ll get back to you again”, she said before adding, “At this point, we are going to make sure that Jessica is doing well.”
In a statement given to CTV, Robb explained the incident by saying; “On Sunday night, as I reported live on television, a very personal and sensitive moment happened. Since then, the video has circulated thousands of times along with some weird allegations surrounding its source.
The reporter continued by expressing gratitude to everyone who had gotten in touch with her since the incident, saying that the response and outpouring of support had “been overwhelming” and that she valued “every single” word.
The journalist, on the other hand, said that she has been the subject of an excessive amount of discrimination and hatred, and also linked to misinformation about the cause of the incident.
In particular, Robb has heard from anti-vaxxers who think her three doses of the COVID-19 vaccination were the reason behind the incident.
Although she continued by saying that she would not share private medical information publicly, there is no reason to be worried. She said; “I can confirm that the event had nothing to do with the COVID-19 vaccine.”
