Tisci worked for Puma, Antonio Berardi, and Coccapani before signing a three-year deal with Ruffo Research, a company that has launched the careers of several fashion designers, including Sophia Kokosalaki.
In an interview, he stated that he would like to collaborate with an Iranian brand, albeit it is unclear how realistic his goal is. Tisci was named creative director of Givenchy’s haute couture, ready-to-wear, and accessories lines in February 2005.
