“How do you say goodbye to nearly a decade of your life? I’m still searching for that answer, but next week I will say goodbye to WVTM 13 after more than 9 years at the station. I’ve had the chance to cover almost every major story, alongside the best team in Central Alabama. Meeting people in both their best and worst moments. They’ve always been so gracious, which I’ll never forget.
I am staying with WVTM 13’s parent company, Hearst Television. Looking forward to joining the great people at 40/29 News in Northwest Arkansas in mid-January. I’ll be anchoring the station’s Saturday and Sunday night newscasts and reporting three nights a week.
This journey obviously puts me much further from my family in Georgia, but they encouraged me to pursue this opportunity to the fullest. Their support means everything!
To the people of Central Alabama, thank you for your support and trust! You’ll always be a part of me.
Wishing everyone a safe and healthy 2024!“
