Louis began his television career in 1989 as a Spanish-language reporter for Telemundo. He later moved to Local 10 where he worked as a reporter before becoming a weekend anchor.
From 1989 to 1992, he was employed by Local 10, at the time when he was one of the few American journalists permitted entry to Cuba to cover the 30th anniversary of the Cuban missile crisis.
In addition to his work for “Extra,” Louis co-hosted “Fox and Friends” and was the show’s lead correspondent. After spending 14 years at WSVN in Miami, Louis moved to Los Angeles in 2014 to serve as the host of the nationally televised program “The Insider.”
