Collin Morikawa Career As a Golfer
Morikawa made his professional start at the 2019 RBC Canadian Open and finished in the 14th place, not so bad for a starter. The following year, on June 14, he was tied in the first place after 72 holes in the 2020 Charles Schwab Challenge.
The PGA Tour came back to action following a three-month layoff owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. On August 9, 2020, he won the 2020 PGA Championship, his first major championship victory.
Morikawa became the third youngest player to win the PGA Championship after he triumphed at the age of 23. He won the 2021 Open Championship on July 18 at Royal St George’s Golf Club in Kent, England.
He has held other records, for instance, he is the first player to win two majors in eight or less starts since Bobby Jones in 1926. Collin is also the first player to win two majors on his first attempt.
