She is a member of the American Meteorological Society’s Board of Broadcast and holds the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) Seal, the highest credential a meteorologist can hold. Giving back to the community is her top priority in her spare time. She is a board member of the T.J. Martell Foundation.
Additionally, she devotes a lot of time to the Nashville Humane Association, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and the American Lung Association. She likes going to schools and motivating students to choose careers in math and science.
Danielle received the June Bacon-Bercey Award for Broadcast Meteorology from the American Meteorological Society in 2021 for her life-saving coverage of the Middle Tennessee tornado outbreak in March 2020. She was also selected as one of the 40 under 40 by the Nashville Business Journal for 2020.
