Jhas launched her career with her own show at the campus radio station. She got her big break at 93.7 WSTW in Wilmington, Delaware, from a manager who was going through the area and heard her wonderful voice on the radio.

That was how she landed the job of co-hosting Eagle 97.7’s “Petch and Jhas” Morning Show in Milford, Delaware. As time went by, she was promoted and became “The Jen and Jhas Show” morning show host on 92.9 The Wave in Virginia Beach, VA.

Her experience in radio has really helped her career. Radio provided her with the necessary news reporting training, but it lacked the deep stage she craved to express her soul. Jhas’ independent creative work is filled with humanity.

She was a wonderful fit for the job of a traffic reporter because she could quickly change topics to cover breaking traffic accidents and weather-related road conditions. Finally, viewers got a chance to hear and see her funny remarks.

While she learned business management skills from her mother, it was her father, a pastor who also happened to be the first African American Democrat to be elected as a state representative for Pennsylvania’s 74th district who gave her a political outlook.
