Chris interned at a cable station in Columbus, Ohio, not long after graduating from college. As time went by, she accepted a job offer for a brief period of time at radio station WIPS (AM) in Ticonderoga, New York.
Her next stop was working as a general assignment reporter for Albany, New York-based WNYT television, where she soon advanced to the positions of weekend anchor and then weekly co-anchor.
