Lynette joins The Weather Channel after more than a decade at WMAR in Baltimore, where she was Chief Meteorologist from 2017 to 2022. She began her meteorology career as a weekend meteorologist in Chattanooga, Tennessee in 2004.
After that, she spent two years in York, Pennsylvania, before moving to Baltimore. Lynette is familiar with The Weather Channel. Earlier in her career, she worked as a camera operator before beginning her on-air career and participated in the Practice Team Program for The Weather Channel from 2001 to 2004.
