The Weekend Show on MSNBC
With the coming election season, MSNBC added The Weekend which is a morning panel show hosted by Symone Sanders-Townsend, Michael Steel, and Alicia Menendez. Symone and Alicia Menendez will both move from hosting weekend afternoon shows to hosting the morning show. The program will run from 8 am to 10 am.
Who is Ayman on MSNBC?
Ayman Mohyeldin is a political commentator and news anchor for MSNBC and NBC News. He previously anchored Ayman Mohyeldin Reports on weekday afternoons and now hosts Ayman on weekend evenings on MSNBC.
He is originally from Egypt born in Cairo, Egypt by his parents Medhat Mohyeldin and Abla Awwad who is Palestinian. Ayman has previously worked at CNN and Al-Jazeera before joining MSNBC.
Is Yasmin Vossoughian leaving MSNBC?
No, Yasmin Vossoughian is still working at MSNBC as a national reporter and fill-in anchor. She previously hosted Yasmin Vossoughian Reports on weekends until November 2023 when it was cancelled.
