Who is Riko Shibata?
Riko Shibata is a Japanese-American actress and model. She is popularly known as the wife of actor Nicholas Cage. They got married in February 2021 and announced that they are expecting their first child on 6th January 2022.

Shibata is 27 years old. She was born in 1994. Shibata is 30 years older than her husband and four years younger than Nicolas’ eldest son.
Shibata and Cage got married on February 16, 2021, in a very small and intimate wedding at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas. They met through a mutual friend in Japan in 2020 while Cage was filming the movie Prisoners of the Ghostland.
When they posed for FLAUNT in October 2021, they made their magazine cover debut as a couple. The pair walked the red carpet at the 2021 GQ Men of the Year party in West Hollywood, California, the following month.
Riko is also an actress, and the two made their red carpet debut in July 2021 at the premiere of Nicolas Cage’s film Pig.
Nic shared his engagement news on his brother Marc Coppola’s radio show in 2020 after Riko had just returned from a trip to New York with him. He said;
“She left New York and went back to Kyoto, Japan, and I went back to Nevada and I haven’t seen her for six months,” he said.
“We’re really happy together and we’re really excited to spend that time together so I finally just said ‘Look, I wanna marry you and we got engaged on FaceTime.”
This becomes Cage’s fifth marriage. Cage was previously married to Patricia Arquette from 1995 to 2001, Lisa Marie Presley from 2002 to 2004), Alice Kim from 2004 to 2016, and Erika Koike from 2019 to 2019.
Cage has two children and several grandchildren. He has two sons Weston Coppola Cage born December 26, 1990, and Kal-El born on October 3, 2005.

Shibata and Cage were married in February 2021. She honored her Japanese heritage with a handmade bridal kimono made up of three layers. Shortly after they tied the knot, the Kyoto native went for a horse and carriage ride around Central Park with Nicolas, showing off their love for the world.
Riko wore a handmade Japanese Bridal Kimono from Kyoto to her wedding in 2021. Winter Song by Kiroro, reportedly her favorite song, played as she walked down the aisle.
According to PEOPLE, Nic wore a Tom Ford tuxedo and the couple exchanged traditional Catholic and Shinto vows with poetry. The ceremony also included Walt Whitman poems and a Haiku.
Following the wedding, the happy couple attended a small gathering at the home of Nicolas’ ex-wife, Alice Kim, with whom he remains close.
