While at KCBS-TV, she often filled in for weather, and soon later she went back to college to and became a certified meteorologist. She joined KTLA in January 2010 and has been working as a senior meteorologist for over 12 years.
Jimenez also forecasts the weather for KTLA 5 News at 6, 6:30, 10, and 11 on weeknights. During her career, she has earned two Emmys, three Golden Mikes, and three Golden Pylons.
