Adam Kinzinger is a CNN political analyst and former politician from the United States. On January 4, 2023, he left Congress and started working for CNN as a senior political pundit.
On October 29, 2021, Kinzinger confirmed that he will not seek election again to Congress in 2022 due to the fact that redistricting had placed him and another Republican representative in the same district.
Kinzinger joined 13 other House Republicans in voting against their party’s leadership to support the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act on November 5, 2021.

Kinzinger is regarded as a moderate Republican. He was one of ten Republicans who voted to remove President Trump from office for encouraging a rebellion in his second impeachment.
He was also one of only two Republicans to support the establishment of a select committee to look into the 2021 attack on the US Capitol, to which he was later appointed.
Kinzinger gained popularity after President Donald Trump was defeated in the 2020 presidential election for his outspoken opposition to Trump’s accusations of voting fraud and attempts to reject the results.

Kinzinger was honored as “Hero of the Year” by the Wisconsin Red Cross in 2006 for pulling a knife-wielding guy to the ground and disarming him. The guy had slashed a woman’s neck on a road in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
“The whole time it was kind of a set conclusion that I was going to get stabbed in the course of the event, but I knew that this wasn’t something I could wake up to… every day with that memory that I watched her die,” Kinzinger recalled the incident in one exclusive interview,
However, The woman survived the horrific incident. Kinzinger was awarded the United States Air Force Airman’s Medal and the National Guard’s Valley Forge Cross for Heroism for his acts of bravery.

Adam Kinzinger Education
Adam graduated from Normal Community West High School in 1996 and later enrolled at Illinois State University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2000.
Kinzinger ran for McLean County commissioner in 1998 while still a student at Illinois State. He defeated an incumbent and, at the age of 20, was one of the youngest county board members in McLean County history. He served on the board until 2003 when he resigned.
