Katie Brown Education
Brown attended McAuley Catholic College and later enrolled at Southern Cross University where she graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in media and journalism. She also studied journalism at the Queensland University of Technology.

Brown is in a relationship with her boyfriend, Jack Hook with whom she has shared a few glimpses. For instance, she revealed that she had a kitchen mishap during the Christmas holidays when visiting her boyfriend’s family.
Brown claimed that she “stuffed up” when preparing potato bake for Jack Hook and her family. She made the revelation on the Sunrise desk as co-host Monique Wright revealed that potato baking was a touchy subject in the workplace.
Co-host Wright claimed that the potato bake is typically “legendary,” but Brown insisted that the end product was so awful that she would never touch the cooker again. Although Brown typically stays off social media, she talked with her followers about her relationship with her boyfriend Jack Hook in October of last year during a vacation to a rural area of New South Wales.
Katie Brown Seven Network
Brown is a reporter for Sunrise as well as the founder of Real Talk Media. It’s amusing that she doesn’t work five days a week yet, but a typical workday would begin with an alarm clock at three in the morning. Every thirty minutes, if Brown is in the studio, she gets her hair and makeup done, and they perform a live cross based on weather conditions or a sport, switching places in between.
She considered COVID-19 to be a great chance to create a different medium to promote the field of women’s sports, so she launched her podcast, Real Talk. Brown believes that women’s sports frequently lean on the side of positivity and end up just slapping them on the back.

She also believes that they should make sure we are being honest and call them out when they are not performing up to the high level. Many men are simply afraid to raise questions; they want to talk to you about it without feeling like they’re being yelled at. This was another thing she learned from her time at SEN.
Katie has seen a significant increase in the number of men covering women’s sports. It’s also common to see women in prominent positions in sports, which is fantastic. These days, you can find female presenters on all of the big networks.
