Being the first African American woman to co-anchor Today, Hall made her debut as co-anchor of Today’s Take on February 24, 2014, which was the third hour of The Today Show with Natalie Morales, Al Roker, and Willie Geist.
Megyn Kelly was given Hall’s co-hosting job on Today in February 2017, and Hall chose not to renew her contract rather than accept a lesser role.
