Hassan and Mona Kattan met through Hassan’s sister Sally E|lamin. Sally and Mona were schoolmates at the American University of Sharjah and friends back in 2003. They reconnected through Facebook in 2017 and began going out in 2020 after a mutual friend set them up.
Hassan proposed to Mona sometime in December 2021 during a romantic vacation at the Abu Dhabi desert resort Qasr Al Sarab. She announced their engagement on her Instagram sharing a picture of her engagement ring with the caption; “Forever Ever 💘 @hassanelamin.”
They got married on February 22, 2022, at Raffles The Palm in Dubai. She shared the preparation of her wedding to her wedding on her Instagram and another beautiful video on her YouTube.
She had two white gowns for her wedding, one from Vera Wang and the other one from Esposa Couture for the katb ketab ceremony. Many celebrities graced her wedding including Kris Fade and the UAE band Noon
To celebrate their one-year anniversary, Mona launched two new his and hers fragrances with KAYALI perfumes, called “The Wedding.” With notes of sandalwood, white freesia, and cedarwood. During an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she said;
“Every time I spray The Wedding, its notes instantly bring me back to the most amazing day of my life. And I want everyone to feel this way.”

What Does Hassan Elamin Do?
Hassan is a businessman currently working as the Head of Facultative, Middle East and Africa at Aon Reinsurance Solutions. He went to Cass Business School where he studied insurance and risk management and later received a Master of Science. Hassan also studied at Bayes Business School, London where he graduated with a degree in MS Insurance. He revealed that he is also a crypto enthusiast.
