It was reported that Jason was dismissed after yelling at his fellow workers on December 6 during a “Jason Carr Live” morning show. Carr then brought the heated argumentation onto a live program, which was aired on the station’s website but not shown on its channel.
His profile did not appear anywhere on the Local 4 staff page after that day. Jason’s face and name have since been deleted from the “Meet the Local 4 Team” page on the WDIV website.
Additionally, everything associated with him was removed from the intro of his show, “Live in the D” intro. His role was taken by Tati Amare who is joined by her fellow journalist and coworker, Michelle Oliver.
