What Happened Between Trent Aric and His Ex-Wife?
Aric was initially married to Jacey Birch, a newscaster at WPLG. Trent proposed to her on a live television broadcast in 2014 and the proposal clip aired on WPLG’s website for several weeks. They were together in marriage for three years until 2018 when they decided to go their separate ways.
Everything began to fall apart in March 2018 after both of them got into a fight in their parking lot. Birch sustained severe bruises and had to take a two-day leave of absence from work to recover from her injuries.
A few hours later that same day, Trent was taken into custody and convicted of domestic violence, which is listed as a non-indictable offense. It was at that point that the couple decided to go their separate ways. Subsequently, the grounds for her divorce file tend to involve irreconcilable differences.
Birch and Trent were both in their second marriage, and they documented it on social media with sentimental posts from the day that he proposed to her on the live television broadcast. Jacey’s first marriage was with Bobby Consolo which ended in 2013. Not Much is known about Bobby.

In 2004, Trent moved to South Florida, where he was swiftly exposed to the tropical zone. In his first two years of working at WPLG, he documented two of the Atlantic Basin’s busiest hurricane seasons ever. Some of those notable hurricanes were Charley, Katrina, and Wilma.
